PROJECT FILM FESTIVAL
Calling All Returning Middle School and High School Students!
Join Us for Project Film Festival (PFF) - An immersive two-part workshop where we will script, shoot and edit an original short film to be submitted to the film festival circuit. This is an opportunity to grow as an artist and be a part of a new creative experience! Workshops will feature Industry Professionals in Scriptwriting, Cinematography and Acting for Film. All work done within the workshops culminate in a week long professional short film shoot in the summer.
The workshop runs from December 13th - February 03 and will resume July 07 - 11 for the Summer Film Shoot.
Total program cost (inclusive of Summer shoot) is $400 and a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot (linked below)

Come together to get to know each other before the workshops begin. This is opportunity to build social connections and foster a sense of community, to improve engagement, and overall well-being by reducing anxiety and creating a more supportive learning environment.

The Script
Collaborate with professional writers and peers to create an impactful and engaging script. Get your ideas and your voices heard while creating a simple achievable script.
The Camera
Monday January 13th 4-6pm Providence Location
Get focus and guidance in acting for film. Using the scenes created in the script workshops, we will work on telling the story of your character using tools and acting techniques to bring your unique self to the performance. Taught by founder Diana Masi Murton.
Work with a professional cinematographer to gain hands on experience in creating and executing the vision of the film. Combining instruction on the look, color, lighting, and framing of every shot in the film.
The Film Actor

The Film Shoot
July 07-11th on location
All the hard work done in our workshops coming together for a film shoot. Students will receive a callsheet a week prior. A call sheet are daily production documents that clearly outlines what both cast and crew need to know for that week of shooting. Parents can think of this structure like a camp.
Act! Create! Shoot!
In this hands on class, students will get to work both in front of and behind the camera. Collaborating to make their very own short film project! We use improv, and theatre games to get the mind, body, voice and imagination moving. Students have fun directing, designing sets, and developing script ideas together. The program will end in a screening of their project (created, acted, and shot by the students) for friends and families. STUDENTS WILL ALSO WORK WITH AND GET INSPIRED BYA SURPRISE GUEST ARTIST IN EACH SESSION
